Preserving fiber, textile, design and needle arts in the African Diaspora

IN STITCHES (through November 2017) is a series of workshop experiences providing weekly engagement in various creations of textile art. Workshops include: #Mantra_Mondays, Rug Making Techniques, Surface Design, African Mosaic Quilting, Patchwork and Njahas, Adire Eleko, Reverse Appplique, Beginner to Advance Knitting and Crochet elements and machine sewing and design and Studio Time and more.

Teaching artists include:
Dindga McCannon, Lisa Shepard Stewart, Ife Felix, Oluwaseyi Shayee Awayomi, Laura R. Gadson, Sahara Briscoe, Gail Edwards and Omi Gray and more.
